Welcome
Kenmare Adult Education Centre provides Adult and Further Education Courses for the Greater Kenmare Area. These courses are delivered through the Adult & Further Education unit within the Department of Education & Science. The Programmes are as follows: Back to Education Initiative; Community Education; Adult Basic Education; Self Financing.
The Centre also does Workshops and One-off courses in areas like Art, Computers & IT, Horticulture, Health Care etc as well as jointly delivering courses with outside Agencies. The Centre is also the Kenmare ‘base’ for St John of God, South Kerry Development Partnership, FAS and Local Employment Service.
We have the following rooms for rent:
meeting rooms (small, medium and large)
Computer Rooms (with Vista and XP);
Exercise room (with mirrors).

200 Metres from the Kenmare Post Office. If coming via Kilgarvan go past the Lansdowne Hotel (on right) on one way system until you reach the Post Office.
